The busy QEII terminal in Southampton offers a variety of amenities to make your departure or arrival as seamless and quick as possible.

Getting Here

The terminal can be found off the A33, Platform Road in the Eastern Docks. Just follow signage for Dock Gate 4.

Arrival

There is an arrivals lounge with nice seating for passengers arriving at the QEII terminal. This is accessible to the general public, giving your friends and family the chance to meet you and wait for you inside in reasonable comfort.

In the arrivals area, amenities include bathrooms with standard and accessible access, vending machines with a small selection of drinks and snacks, and a magazine stand with a number of free periodicals. You may also get copies of Map & Guide to Southampton, which is useful for figuring out what's nearby as well as what the city has to offer.

Departures

Near the terminal is a sizable covered area where passengers can leave their belongings. Porters will assist you with your bags as you exit here if you are taking a taxi or a family member is dropping you off. If you're parking, come return here after you've done so. Where necessary, staff will guide you.

Where to eat

In the arrivals and departures areas of the QEII Cruise Terminal, Café Ceanos is open. Snacks, tea, coffee, and wine are provided for departing travellers, and everyone can have fresh tea and coffee during arrivals.

Parking

A short stay pay & display car park is available opposite the terminal. The nearby disabled parking slots must be reserved in advance through ABP. On-site long-term parking is available; however, it cannot be purchased on the spot. Make sure you reserve in advance because spaces might get busy during busy hours.

Check-In

Head into the terminal for check-in after leaving your luggage with the porters, keeping any hand luggage, tickets, and passports with you. To help you, there should be staff on duty.

You must go through security after checking in before continuing to the departure lounge.
