By Train

The nearest train station is Southampton Central. There are regular local and national services, as well as frequent connections to Southampton Airport Parkway. The walk from the station to the terminal is just under a mile. There are dedicated taxi ranks on either side of the station, and journeys cost between £5 and £7.

Passengers disembarking in Southampton will find plenty of comfortable seating in the arrivals lounge. There are standard and disabled toilets, vending machines with a limited selection of snacks and drinks, and a magazine stand with complimentary copies of magazines.

Arrival lounge is open to the public, relatives or friends who are waiting for you can come inside, making it easier for them to spot you on your arrival.

As you approach the terminal, you'll notice a designated area for dropping off your luggage before parking. Porters will be on hand to assist you with your bags, not only saving you time but also taking one less thing off your plate.
If you arrive by taxi, you will be dropped off right next to the luggage storage area. Coach passengers will disembark opposite the terminal, close to the luggage area.

Head into the terminal as soon as your luggage is safely with porters (remember to keep any hand luggage with you). You must go through security before checking in, so have your tickets and passport ready.

After passing through security, you will be able to check in at one of 50 service desks. The number of available desks varies according to cruise line and ship size. Remember to stick to the time your travel agent or cruise line recommends, as it can get quite crowded.
