Ocean Cruise Terminal Southampton

Ocean Cruise Terminal Southampton, UK

Berth 46/47: Dock Gate 4, Cunard Rd, Southampton SO14 3QN

One of Southampton's busiest terminals, the Ocean, offers a number of services to make your stay as convenient and cosy as possible.

Getting Here:

Travelling by car, getting there is easy. Just off the A33, Platform Road head for Dock Gate 4. Be sure to allow plenty of time during peak hours due to the potential for heavy traffic.

Dropping Off Your Luggage:

You don't need to be concerned if you're unsure because there is assistance available and clear signage at every turn. The luggage handling area is on your left as you get closer to the terminal. The drop-off point is nearby. Your bags will be handled quickly by porters. You'll have to carry your bags here on your own if you park.

Where to Park:

As you face the terminal, on your right is short-term parking, which is situated directly behind the coach bays. The long-term parking lot is located behind the short-term parking lot. Don't wait until the last minute to reserve a space because it won't be available on the day. This should be something that your travel agent or cruise line can arrange for you.

Terminal Building:

When you first arrive, the situation could seem a little chaotic. The building's front is framed by two huge doors. There is no need to worry about approaching from the wrong end because both sets go to the same receiving area. There are 100–150 seats downstairs. Take a few minutes to wait and unwind down here if you're waiting for a family member or friend to park.

Terminal Facilities

Café offer a range of refreshments in the departure lounge, with a good selection of food and drink available. Alcoholic beverages are also available.

Standard and disabled access toilets are located on both floors. Mother and baby changing facilities are upstairs, towards the back of the terminal. Wi-Fi is available at the terminal

Check In:

You'll need to go upstairs to do this. There are stairs, an escalator, and an elevator available. The check-in staff will be available to direct you to your destination.

The first three to five workstations are used for priority check-in, and a distinct line is clearly marked. There are about 30 to 40 desks available in total.
